Sunday School:

In our lesson on Sunday (October 2), we learned about Moses’ childhood. God protected him from the slaughter of the Hebrew babies when Moses’ mother put him into a basket in the Nile River.


Sunday School Bible Verse to learn by heart this week:

Preschool-3rd grade:

  Psalm 46:1 —  God is our Refuge and Strength, a very present help in trouble.


4th-8th grade:

Psalm 121:7-8  The Lord will keep you from all evil; He will keep your life. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.


Catechism to learn by heart this week (all grades):

The Sixth Commandment

    You shall not commit adultery.

    What does this mean?

    We should fear and love God, so that we lead a chaste and decent life in word and deed, and that husband and wife each love and honor the other.
