Bethany Lutheran Church was organized in 1953 as a mission congregation of our Saviors (Princeton). Services had been started by Reverend A. Harstad beginning five years early here. The congregations were served by the same pastor until 1972 when each congregation called its own Pastor. The church building was contracted in 1953 and was an extensive remodel in 1981. The congregation joined the ELS in 1954.
